Change is the one constant in women's lives. We can embrace that change and become empowered or we can stay in a holding pattern .... never really moving forward!
This three part seminar is for any woman wishing to make that leap forward.
Topics will include:
"Letting Go"
presented by Stephanie Meek, B.S.E., M.S.
Many women feel trapped in situations and behaviors that are no longer positive but are unsure of how they got there. Participants will be challenged to think about the patterns, beliefs, and choices in their lives and to make a plan to become the woman they dreamt they would one day be. Stephanie will gently guide you on a morning of self discovery and awareness designed to challenge fears, recognize coping behaviors, and examine your dreams. You will be introduced to her five step process to initiating change in your own life.
"The American Dream, Feminized"
presented by Brenda Harmon, B.S.E., M.S., L.P.C., N.C.C.
The American Dream-what makes our country great, right? But how often does it really apply to women? Do you cringe at the thought of balancing your checkbook? When you glance into your office (if you've bothered to create such a room or space) do you shudder and walk on past the mess? When someone suggests that you compare car insurances do you wonder where you even put the policy and when that awful bill could be due again ("Wasn't it just last week that I mailed that? you ask yourself.) Brenda will take you on a short trip to gaining control of your chaos. The first step to confidence, security, and thus the American Dream, is knowing what you have, where you have it, and what to do with it. Through the use of a quick survey, discussion and sharing we will explore several areas that can create anxiety and undermine a woman's confidence and security when it comes to finances.
"Have a Love Affair with Yourself"
presented by Diane Kunkel, B.S.E., M.S., L.P.C., N.C.C.
Every woman, at some point in their life, feels as if they are spinning out of control. Work, family, and other commitments demand so much of your time that you barely know who you are anymore. The dreams and goals that you once had are mere memories tucked away somewhere in your brain. You are probably thinking right now, "What dreams or goals? I barely have time to take care of my physical needs, let alone dream about what I want out of life!" Diane will lead you on a journey to a place where you will focus on who you are and what you want. Then learn how you can take better care of yourself and act in your own interests. This journey will give you eight crucial steps to increasing your self esteem and building the life you desire.
